【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardappliestoportabledevicesforhouseholdandsimilaruses(hereafterreferredtoasportableresidualcurrentdevices(PRCDs)consistingofaplug,aresidualcurrentdevice(RCD)andoneormoresocket-outletsoraprovisionforconnection,functionallyindependentof,orfunctionallydependenton,linevoltage.Theydonotincorporateovercurrentprotection.Theyareintendedforsingle-phasecircuitsforratedcurrentsnotexceeding16Aforratedvoltagesnotexceeding250Va.c.,orforratedcurrentnotexceeding32Aforratedvoltagesnotexceeding130Va.c.toearth.Theyareintendedtoprovideprotectionagainstshockhazardincaseofdirectcontact,inadditiontotheprotectionprovidedbythefixedinstallationsforthecircuitdownstream.PRCDshavearatedresidualoperatingcurrentnotexceeding0,03A.Theyensuretrippingincaseofresidualalternatingcurrentsandresidualpulsatingdirectcurrents,whethersuddenlyappliedorslowlyrising(see8.15).Plugsandsocket-outletswillcomplywiththerelevantstandards.Thisstandardappliestoportabledevicesperformingsimultaneouslythefunctionsofdetectionoftheresidualcurrent,ofcomparisonofthevalueofthiscurrentwiththeresidualoperatingvalueandofopeningoftheprotectedcircuitwhentheresidualcurrentexceedsthisvalue.Theyarenotintendedtobeusedaspartsoffixedinstallations.Theirconnectingmeansmaybeplugs,socket-outlets,terminalsorcords.NOTES1TherequirementsforPRCDsareinlinewiththegeneralrequirementsofIEC61008-1.PRCDsareessentiallyintendedtobeoperatedbyunskilledpersonsanddesignednottorequiremaintenance.Theymaybesubmittedforcertificationpurposes.2TheRCDpartofthePRCDisnotintendedtoprovideisolationwhichmaybeprovidedbytheplug.3Theuseofanintegralfuseispermitted,ifnecessary,fortherelevantplugandsocket-outletsystem.4InAustraliaandinGermany,PRCDsswitchingalsothePEcircuitareinuse.Suchdevicesarenotcoveredbythisstandard.Therequirementsofthisstandardapplyforenvironmentalconditionsasdefinedin7.1.AdditionalrequirementsmaybenecessaryforPRCDsusedinlocationshavingmoresevereenvironmentalconditions.PRCDsincludingbatteriesarenotcoveredbythisstandard.ThepresentstandarddoesnotcontainadditionalrequirementsforPRCDswithoutearthingcontactsforwhichspecificrequirementsmayapply.Itmay,however,beusedasaguideforsuchdeviceswhichareintendedtobeusedonlywithClassIIappliances.ThepresentstandarddoesnotapplytoPRCDsprovidingtheadditionalfunctionofdetectingfaultsonthesupplysideandavoidingtheclosingofthePRCDonafaultysupplycircuit.
